Geographic Scope

Harlem is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Manhattan that stretches from the East River to the Hudson River between 110th Street and 155th Street where it meets Washington Heights. The project consists of materials in Central Harlem which begins at 110th Street at the northern boundary of Central Park; East Harlem which extends East Harlem's boundaries south to 96th Street; and Morningside Heights, from St. Nicholas Avenue and Morningside Avenue to the Hudson River.
