We seek to process, digitize, and rehouse approximately 20,000 photographs representing life on Centenary’s campus during the 20th century and 300 architectural drawings of various buildings on campus. These materials have grown exponentially over time without being processed and remain a largely inaccessible part of our collections. By digitizing these items and making them freely available, we will continue our efforts toward making collections open and accessible to scholars for research purposes as well as serving our students by providing examples of primary historical resources. These digitized collections would offer a unique window into the region’s local history as well as the study of women’s higher education in the 20th century.
